My co-worker has grown para-noid. I'm trying to give her a bit of space because I myself have suffered from bouts of paranoia but this is getting ridiculous. I worked outside of the office for about six months a while back but have since returned. While I was gone my co-woker went thru all our work and organized things to her liking. This was a great move, with her experience she probably helped make things more efficient.
However now that I am back she doesn't want me to touch anything. I think her concern is that I will mess up something she has done.
Poor girl.
Lately she has been coming up to my desk when I have stepped away and she is taking work and projects I have already started, and she's finishing them. This has been quite disconcerting to me. I'll have my desk covered with a messy project Friday afternoon, come in Monday morning planning to finish it--and it's gone. For a bit I thought maybe the weekend cleaning crew was playing games on me.
So I have no idea how to solve this situation. I need work to do regardless of whether or not she wants to share. I have 40 hours to fill just like the next working stiff.
Help! She's driving me crazy.
