Mother, Father, Audrey and Greta, Haley, Fletcher, Hannah, and my aunt Diana are all coming up to Washington for my birthday. It's the coolest and I already know what we're going to do. I'm making them all go with me to see the movie Mama Mia.
Haley seems to be mistaken in thinking she can sneak out with Fletch and go see the new Batman, but I'm pretty sure I can guilt her into attending a few shameless hours of ABBA filled goodness.
In other news: I have scheduled my moving van, and as of today have three weeks of construction work left. My boss today asked me why I would ever want to leave "this" piece of cake job. To which I responded pensively about fulfillment. He told me there's no money in fulfillment.
I also went on a date with a 21 year old this week. Probably the most fun I've had on a date in months considering I referred to him repeatedly as "child" and he called me grandma. Good times.
I'm planning a great party next Thursday for my 28th. My aunt and Uncle have a super cool pool with a slide and basketball hoop. So I'm going to invite my besties over and BBQ. Last year I did something similar but the weather was questionable-so pray for me.

we're excited to see you! if we're going out to a movie- what am I supposed to do with the child?
are you positive there's no chance of seeing the dark knight?
maybe we can get a babysitter? I guess I don't have a child so I never think of these things. hmmm what to do with the child?
I have some friends going to the drive in to see Dark Knight on Friday-we could do that?
I think Greta would like ABBA, maybe you should consult her first.
