Fortunate

I am 80% sure I found an apartment today!!! It's nothing special except:

1. It's Cheap! (yay!)
2. Location, location, location!
3. Three bedroom

and on top of that I feel like I'm already best friends with the managers. On my way to a large complex yesterday I realized I was in the neighborhood for another rental I had seen online, so I decided to stop and see if it was viable. It was a cute small complex just outside Multnomah Village. As I knocked on the managers door I noticed a relief society - ish plaque hanging outside with the last name of the Managers on it. It said "The Hoilands" and as common as that name is I was pretty sure it wasn't. Low and behold the sister-in-law of my sister's ex boyfriend opened the door. Consequently she is also a member of an up and coming band called canoe. If you wanna check them out:

So we were friendly and I made an appointment to come back the next day to see it. And I liked it so hopefully all goes well on the paperwork end!!!

I am soooooo relieved to possibly have a place to call home and maybe I can move in next week. Oh gloriousness!!!
