So my beautiful boyfriend has a missionary. Yep. You know how guys on missions get dear-johned all the time. Their girlfriend back home meets some guy at the YSA dance punch bowl and the next thing you know she's sending him a wedding invitation.
Why do girls do that? (I mean besides the blatant attempt at garnering extra wedding gifts)
He dated her, they were pretty serious, and then they both went on missions. He got back before her and was planning on waiting to see if they would continue dating. However I entered the picture, he couldn't keep his hands off me, and a few months later I'm sitting at my computer in Portland, him in Rexburg--each of us contemplating the ever present missionary release of a girl named Eve in Salt Lake City.
Interesting huh? I could call it getting adiosed, or plugged, but I really think there should be term for it.
Possibly it's just called getting dumped, and I should face the reality.
Either way, "Welcome Home Sister Eve, and thank you for your wonderful service in the church!"

If they went on missions at the same time, that would make her an older woman, huh? Does he always date girls who are older than him?
