Regarding Notice #: 11608000-----
To borrow a line from the actress Rosie Perez “You are like wet sand in my underpants”. I have received multiple notices from your county regarding a speeding infraction caught by a photo radar camera. I’ve responded to each of those notices informing you that I was not driving my car at the time of the infraction, and have no intention of paying your fine.
According to Washington State law, I’m not required to name the driver of my car, unless it was a rental car. Therefore I would ask that you cease threatening me with your inane requests.
The latest notice you sent requests I appear in court. To attend such a court date would require I take a day off of work and drive several hours out of state. Not coincidentally, I’m sure you realize doing so would cost approximately as much as just paying the ticket. You’ve put me in a position where no matter what I do I will end up losing money.
This is my official notice that I will not be attending your court date. To harass me any longer violates my civil rights, and to do anything to my driving record, or affect my ability to register my car in the future puts you grossly outside your rights as a district court.
Please have someone call me so we can put this matter to rest.
