Shooting

With and afternoon off Matt asked me if I'd like to go shooting. We had talked about it while eating Moroccan food for Andrew's 28th birthday. I met him downtown and we jumped into traffic to go across town to a range operated by Clackamas county. Oh how unprepared we were! I, in an attempt to highlight my cute new pink toenail polish wore my favorite sandals. This is not allowed at a gun range. I guess when casings eject after a shot they can be close to 300 degrees and severely burn exposed body parts. Matt commented it was a good thing I wasn't more "Cleavagy" (not a word). I took it as an insult about my bust size, but I don't think that's what he meant. When we got to the range it turned out they were all out of 9mm ammunition. Something to do with Barack in the White house has made people crazy about scooping up all the ammo they can, just in case he outlaws guns tomorrow. So because of this Matt wouldn't be able to shoot the gun he brought. We jumped int he car to find me some socks (exposed toes) and him some ammo. At the sportsman's warehouse the socks were over priced. They had a basket of socks in the shoe department that were to be used for trying on shoes. They were tempting...but I broke down and bought something called "invisible" socks for $5.99. Matt could find no Ammo so we headed out. In the parking lot we both were hit with the hunger stick, and instead of heading back to the range we headed across the lot to Pizza Schmizza. All in all we finally made it back, fired several shots at a poor defenseless paper man, and had a good time.
