I was at my folks the other day visiting when a high pitched long "beeeeeeeeeeeeeeep." sounded. It probably went off for 30 seconds or so. We just kept on talking. When we stopped and started to wonder where it was coming from we had no idea. Dad checked over the power tools in the remodel part of the kitchen (which is coming along nicely). Fletcher opened a few cupboard. We just looked at each other--and then Fletch had the a bright idea. "Maybe it's the Carbon Monoxide Detector downstairs." "Yeah" we all agreed, but by then the beep had stopped. So no one did anything.
