Didn't feel it this year. I'll be honest. Last year for my birthday I was in first few days of falling head over heals for a really cute boy. That was fun. This year I had a lot of school work, regular work, and it all added up for a different experience.
I would like to add...you know you're a boring adult when you only get birthday cards from your dentist, insurance agent and the VA where I volunteer. FUN!!
I did go out to dinner with friends, spend the day at the amusement park being amused, and tomorrow Ellie is throwing me a birthday dinner.
I also think I may have found us a cute house to move into this fall when the girls get back from Uganda. It's a 2000 sq. ft. 30's bungalow with hard wood floors in our current neighborhood.
