Adieu

Today my home stake re-wrote it's boundaries. Wards previously numbered were given "real" names and families that have been together for 20 years are now separated. I have no problem with it. I trust my priesthood leaders to make these decisions and I know everything was done with the best intents.

It's just weird to know that Beaverton Third ward no longer exists. Families like the Sweetlands, Taylors, Threadgills, Chambers, Seamons, aren't in my home ward any longer.

My parents now go to the Maplewood Ward. Weird!

Also today was Fletch's Eagle Court of Honor. I really couldn't be more proud. Brother Scroggs shared a story about Fletcher's first year at scout camp. He got really homesick and had to come home early. I don't know if this is really a testament to Fletch's wimpiness, or really just more confirmation that I grew up in a really great home with a wonderful family. I can imagine that going from a woman filled home to a week long trip in the woods with just men, might be a bit much to take. Thankfully he's adjusted and really seems to enjoy spending time with men.

It was a great night!

Maplewood?! I want to vomit. It's weird that it has been exactly 20 years since they last reorganized. I can't believe all those families are in other wards - the Sweetlands live just down the street from us!
