I was at my favorite shopping hole last night trying to scare up some snow pants for a trip I'm taking this wknd. Have you been to the "Pay by the Pound" Goodwill in SE? Well it's my favorite spot to shop for many reasons. One of those reasons being that last time I was there I was inspecting a coat for purchase, when I found 20 bucks in the pocket. Cool huh? I've never just found that much money so I was pretty stoked. I told mom and it turns out she had bought some pants there once and had the same thing happen to her! Awesome.
So last night I found a pair of Burton snow pants that looked like they were going to work. I was inspecting them when I overheard a conversation across the bin that a mother and her adult son were having.
"Hey Johnny* I was looking at this coat and look what I found in the pocket?" (I was immediately intrigued as this was what had happened to me. Do all people find money at the bins? If so should I have a part time job of just looking for stray cash there?) So I waited. Johnny* was as curious as I and said "What? What did you find?" there was a long pause as she rustled with the coat and pulled out................
"A tampon."
This was not the outcome either Johnny* or myself had been expecting. Johnny stated "Well that's just gross mom!" to which the mom replied "It wasn't a used Tampon!"
I forgot to mention that by the time I stopped by the Bins I hadn't slept for close to 36 hours and had just gotten off shift.
The conversation was so funny to me I couldn't stop laughing and had to quickly pay for my items and leave so that people wouldn't think I was a crazy person who is laughing, but talking to myself, trying not to laugh.
This along with the amazing deals I get there will insure my frequent return.

The goodwills out here are really really lame and over priced. It is one thing I will check out for sure nect time I am home!
I've heard about that place but haven't been yet. I can't wait for my first experience there, and I will definitely be checking the pockets of everything I look at!
