Low self-Esteem

I work with a lot of kids who act out because they have low self-esteem. There's usually more to it than that but in a nutshell there you go. So I work with parents to help them know what they need to do to build self-esteem in their children. Much of my work centers around positive feedback and consistent communication of positive feedback.

That all being said. I myself have been having a hard time and I need some positive feedback. Instead of acting out negatively I'm instead going to show you the hard things I've been working on and ask you to please praise me.

I don't want to sound pathetic but I could really use it.

This is the persistent oil leak in my truck that will not go away no matter how many times I put on my coveralls and climb under the filthy carriage. 

This is the beautiful wooden bed I rescued from certain death with the help of my dad. I've cleaned it up, repaired some scratches and now I just have to make it! Also I painted that wall "sea life."

This is the washing machine I located on craigslist to replace the one my roommate sold.

Here is my disgusting toe after I cleaned up all the blood and patched it back together after I decided I should unload the washer from my truck all by myself and instead dropped the washer on my toe all by myself.

Here's the Tubey thing I bought at A-boy to replace the old tube that turned my laundry room into a swimming pool. I had to find and use tools and everything to make the switch.
