summer's a comin'

The next two weekends are going to be so exciting!

On Friday I'm meeting up with my sister Audrey and her family. They are on their way moving from Oklahoma to Oregon and I'm going to help them with the driving from Salt Lake to Portland. Maranda went down on Saturday last to help them drive the first leg. I'm extra excited about this because I get to finally meet my new nephew Henry. He's gaining weight and becoming a little chunk like his mother was at that age!

I'll get into Portland on Saturday most likely and then we'll help them get moved into their new place. Then I'll fly back to Utah.

The Friday after that my family is all coming to Utah for BYU graduation. Maranda and Haley are both graduating. I've got to say...my parents are really raising an educated group of kids. After this next weekend 5 of their 8 children will have their bachelor's degrees. Marcene is currently working on finishing hers as she had to take a break due to some severe health problems. When she finishes up that will leave only the two youngest. Not bad right?

Some friends of ours are letting us stay at their second home in Park City during graduation which will make it feel like a mini vacation. It's a beautiful cabin style home way up on the mountain overlooking the valley. I'm excited. We'll cook, shop and play!

With the recent beautiful weather out here in Roosevelt, I feel as though summer is right around the corner! I'll be picking up my bike this weekend in SL and I'm hoping to start exploring some of the gorgeous areas around here!
