My heart goes out to those affected by the Death of the Sueppel Family. I believe it truly shows the consequences of sin and in this case addiction. Why would a successful husband and father of four adopted children viciously murder his family and then kill himself by crashing his vehicle into a cement barricade.
Why did he make a decision to embezzle 500,000 dollars from the bank he presided over?
Because he was drug addict. And when his crime was discovered, he couldn't deal with the pressure of being a failure. Instead of manning up to his mistake, and working to overcome cocaine, he instead went off the deep end, bludgeoning his wife and four beautiful children.

whoa, hadn't heard this story either! Horrible horrible. It is amazing what people will do to avoid taking responsibility for their choices. Where did this happen? Locally?
No it wasn't local but it is truly sad.
