Last Interview

On my way back from a bid in Olympia this afternoon I stopped in Tacoma for my last Interview for Grad school.

I planned it just right and I'm quite proud of myself. Since the interview was on my way coming back to the office from performing office duties, I can be reimbursed for mileage.

So doing the math:

110 miles round trip
at 48 cents per mile
= $52.80

Subtract my Approx. Cost for fuel
$52.80-$13.05= $39.75

And since my interview took less than an hour it's just counted as my 1 hour lunch break.

I wouldn't normally type about such distasteful thing, but considering recent unexpected costs, I'm appalled at what my gasoline budget has gone up to. It's embarrasing.

The interview went really well. This program is specifically not Full time and means I would most likely keep my current job and attend evening classes once or twice a week in Tacoma.
