You wanna talk luck?
How about getting pulled over for speeding, expired tags, and out of state licence plates.
and not getting a ticket.
Of course I was only going 10 over, and my new tags were sitting inside the car (forgot to stick them on last month) but I've been seriously avoiding getting Washington plates since it's a headache. Technically by law you're supposed to have it done within 30 Days--I'm going on two years. ($500 fine!!)
The officer point blank asked me how long I'd lived here and I told him I didn't care to incriminate myself.
Then we had a nice conversation about the nationality of his last name, and I suggested he should let the Mormons have a go at it. Maybe I'll look up his genealogy at the family history library and send a copy off to the Belfair Precinct.
