My trip to Vegas was great. I kicked back and relaxed and had a great time. My interview went pretty well. I wasn't as comfortable in the one on one interview as I had been at Lewis and Clark, and honestly a few of their questions caught me off guard.
I did get the opportunity to do a role-play. I walked into the observation room (One way mirror) and inside were three current grad students acting as though they were clients. It was great. I quickly realized they were pretending to be a lesbian couple and an 11 year old daughter of one of the lesbians. The 11 year old didn't understand the nature of her mother's relationship with "her friend" Jessica.
I did pretty ok with that activity.
So now I wait and see if they like me enough, or if I'm not up to snuff. Hopefully I'll hear from both L&C and UNLV this week.
In a week and a half I have an interview with UPS.
