I received the following e-mail from this new Internet dating guy I've been corresponding with. We were supposed to go out on Friday but he cancelled citing the following reasons. The question is do you think it's legit, or do you think it sounds too far fetched?

Apparently sometime last Friday or Saturday I got into some. I didn't think it was going to get very bad, but I had to go to the doctor this morning to get a prescription. I am a miserable mess right now and it is extremely frustrating. I am usually a very patient and understanding person, but this is killing me. This is also the first time I've ever gotten it all over my face, it is not fun, and I've been in a horrible mood. The medication I got this morning is taking it's time to do it's thing, I can't tell if it's even doing anything yet, but they say it may take a few days to clear up...I guess Evan and Rebecca are going to bless the baby this Sunday, so I will be coming up to go to your parent's ward on Sunday regardless of how I look. But right now we will have to hold off on making any other plans. I'm sorry.Hope to talk to you soon,Kirk

well, i know you can have an allergy to it besides te normal itchy reaction and thats horrible from what i've heard. also if he lives near any woods or anything, poison oak is an ever green so it doesnt die in the winter, so it sounds like a legit reason. also, he could spread it to you becasue when someone gets it the poison oils are secreeted from their skin, so maybe he was being considerate as well as self consious :)
hope it helps!
When did you start internet dating? There's a girl in my branch who got poison oak or ivy or something from her backyard and she seriously had red blotchy welts all over her face. It was terrible looking.
you once told me that you hate the name kirk. I think this is grounds enough for moving on.
