Freyja Jr. and Jr. #2

I went to the Humane society and adopted two zebra finches. They are so tiny it took the combined efforts of myself and a society worker to capture them. We placed them in a carrier which they quickly escaped from and we had to climb on chairs and use a broom to trap them again.

I got home after picking up food and toys and they wouldn't come out of the box so I taped the box to the side of my cage hoping while I was out at FHE they would come out and explore their new home.

One has now ventured out - but the other is being stubborn. This trait will most likely be mirrored in the name I pick out for him.

No way this plan of tapping the box to the cage can fail

See them hiding!

Poking at them was not helpful. Imagine that.

Isn't he cute!
